The New iPhone 5

The new iPhone 5 has now been announced and will come out shortly for sale. I for one am not impressed! Apple has taken over 1 year get on the new 4G LTE network, a feature that Samsung has had for over 1 year! There is not much difference between the 4S and the 5, they look similar. What have they changed really! When you think about it is not much! So it’s a little faster, brighter, taller, so what! That sounds like an upgrade to me now a new phone entirely! I was very disappointed, I expected more, much more! I see no reason why to upgrade to this new phone, plus now I have to go out and by a new case and other accessories because my current one won’t fit the new iPhone, Yay!! Thanks Apple! I will not be upgrading to the new iPhone 5 if and when I do upgrade I think I will upgrade to a Samsung.

Wild Wings - has no coffee!!!

So I'm with my cousin at the Wild Wings at MaCowan and Finch and I have just gotten the biggest shock of my life!! Wild Wings does not, NOT, serve coffee. Are you kidding me, coffee is the number 1 hot drink of choice in Canada! Coffee is a multi Billion dollar market, there are over 100 million cups of coffee served daily. I have been a coffee drinker my whole life and in my Spanish tradition I like a cup of coffee after a meal especially dinner. But at Wild Wings I cannot have this because they do not sell coffee here! They don't care how important coffee is to some cultures and people. I am completely and totally disgusted at the lack of caring by this supposed establishment in their lack of hot beverages on the menu. Even the most ghetto cheap ass place in the dumpiest earea of Toronto has a coffee make and serves a passable cup of joe to their patrons. These clueless American chains don't care or know what our Canadian tastes are, this is the second time I came to a Wild Wings and this is the second time these soulless people hugely disappoint me. This is the only American chain that does not serve coffee! In a Canada where the vast population drink coffee as a number 1 choice of hot beverage. I want to say that is will be the last time I am going to be sorely disappointed by these people but I have a feeling that it won't. For now I want to end this by saying I hate the fact that there are foreign establishments like this Wild Wings in my country not serving the food I love, drink, and expect. They have violated my chooses as a consumers, my rights as a Canadian, and most of all my dignity as a human being!!

I recently had the opportunity to visit the West Edmonton Mall. For those of you that may not know this, the West Edmonton Mall is considered among the largest malls in the world. With over 200 store, shops, and attractions like an indoor wave pool and theme park. The mall boasts the largest parking lot in the world with room for 20,000 vehicles. I was there on a Saturday and it took me almost 25 minutes to find a parking space, I wanted to get a locker to put my personal item into it but I could not get one as all the lockers in the whole mall were being used. Getting around the hallways was exiting as they were packed with shopper, on looker and visitors like me. I must, however, express my disappointment when I actually saw the sheer size of the mall. I was expecting something on a more grandiose scale instead what I got was a larger version of every other mall I had been too. I am sure that when you count by square footage the mall is huge, but the actual shopping part of the mall is in my opinion rather ordinary. All in all I was quite happy to have visited and will very likely visit again. I simple expected more than what I got.
